We are a family from Raglan consisting of my husband Johny,my son Phoenix(11), my daughter Izla(9) and me.It is our dream to live in a house bus and travel around N.Z. Its been 4 years in the making. We have left our jobs and taken the children out of school. This will be our home for how ever long we can handle it. This is our story.
I have never written a Blog before or lived in a house bus for that matter. I want to share our experiences in a hope that it may motivate others to take a leap of faith, reject the norm and do that thing in the back of their minds and in the depths of their hearts, that’s been nagging so long its hoarse. At the very less I hope to make you laugh. Our journey to get the bus ready was hard and at times, this life is hard. But life is tough, so suck it up, we are “Living the Dream”.
Since this is my first time writing a blog and I don’t have a clue how to get things in the right places. Bear with me. Hopefully as time goes on I will improve, as will I’m hoping, our lives with this adventure. Please start by reading my first blog in the categories under Background and then go onto our journey to get her ready. This I affectionally refer to as our ascent of Mt Everest (the analogy will soon become clear).
